Engine Cooling problem

my car engine heats up when i have the gears in the park position or when im making slow turns in the parking lot looking for parking. but the engine stays cool when im driving or even when im stuck in traffic in the freeway or on the streets. the engine stays cool when i step on the breaks at a stoplight. What can be the problem?

Be sure it is full of coolant.Do you hear the fan come on when you are parked idling? If not have it checked out, this sill cause engine damage overheating the engine
