Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Lincoln Navigator Engine Size unknown Four Wheel Drive Automatic 137000 miles

When i drive my car, I smell a sweet smell and then clear white smoke comes from the vent inside the car.

I have a 2001 Navigator 5.4 v8 that just started the same problem a few days ago. I checked with my mechanic who says the head gasket is leaking in the rear. The smell is radiator water smell for sure and smells with the a/c or heat on but not with the vent on.

Update: I had a pressure check done and it is the heater core that is leaking.
