The automatic door on the driver's side will slide open and closed when activated by either the dash switch or remote control. However, when the door slides to the closed position, it will not complete the final latching action which pulls the door in tight to the body. This failure to latch does not allow the door to be locked and activates the door ajar warning beeper when the transmission is shifted into gear. My temporary remedy is to stand beside the van and shove the trailing edge of the door inward to latch it. Is there a typical parts and/or labor replacement or adjustment I can try to fix this problem? Your guidance will be greatly appreciated!
