I recently repaired a damaged Audi A3 TDI quattro s-line (170) - front OS was damaged along with the fuse box -
all body work is done and we have an electrician replaced fuse box and cabling. The car does have power ie windows, stereo. the remote key will lock and unlock the vehicle. and we can get the engine to turn over no probs.
but it will not start from the key, the dash isnt lighting up either?
Any Audi experts out there know what the problem might be? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, the best way to attack the problem is to purchase a wiring diagram and trace the wiring to see were the short circuit is located. It sounds like the ignition switch is not getting power on one of the polls on the ignition switch itself. Please go here to get your online manual and get back to me,, thanks for visiting 2carpros.com
