2005 Audi A4 4 cyl 32000 miles

I leased an Audi A4. After 3 years, Audi sent someone to inspect it. I got presented with a bill for $2,200! It was a total of stuff like $55 for "hood dents" (invisible to the naked eye), $250 for a scratch on the door handle and "tire scratches." I asked other people who leased cars and no one has ever heard of anything like this. A salesman told me that I'm either being "blackmailed" into buying the car or Audi is just trying to pass costs onto consumers in tight times. What's with this??
