My 2003 Audi Allroad has severe vibrations ( possibly connected with ice, snow or mud) when accelerating
(applying power). When the gas pedal is released, the vibration is completely gone ( no balancing problem). Could it be CV joint related?
Vibration was very strong after driving in deep snow with 0 degree temperature. It went almost complety away after 100 miles of Interstate driving with temperatures above 40 degrees F.

I would check the engine and tranny mounts to start with...
