Ok, are you sure its the w/p. when you sprayed with wd40 was the vehicle running? if so before starting the vehicle spray the pump then start the vehicle if noise is still there turn vehicle off locate the Tensioner pulley or the Idler Pulley, just spray one of them and start the vehicle if noise stops replace pulley. repeat with other pulley if noise continues.
I noise still continues after that then spray belt if noise stops replace belt.
