Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Audi A6 V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 85000 miles

took to my mechanic and he had 2 codes come up
that are under the catagory/ manufacturer controlled auxiliary emission controls
code no. 1411
code no.1423
what do these codes mean and what needs to be fixed

i'm having a problem finding these codes in my listing's are they p1411/p1423 ?? in the meantime ask your mechanic to delete the codes (after making note of them) to turn off the check engine light. then drive the car as you normally would for a few days ? it is possible these codes came up because of a glitch in the ECU and there is no fault with the vehicle ? if they do not re-occur then problem solved
