Suspension problem
1999 BMW 540 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 105000 miles

Hi there!

I can't seem to find a company that carries rear shocks for the 540it with the rear air suspension. I know that the dealer will sell me brand spanking new Sachs, but I know that I can find a better deal elsewhere. Can you tell me if the shocks are the same for the sedan and the wagon for the e39 V8.

They are not the same. The touring takes different units than the sedan.
