Engine Performance problem
1996 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
I do not know if the truck is actually a 6cyl, so if I am wrong, please forgive me.

My husband has had this truck since 1996, straight off the lot. All of this time, he has NEVER tuned it up. He does get the oil changed, sometimes late, but it gets done.

I told him that he needs to get it tuned up, but he says that since he doesn't see any problems, he doesn't need to get this done.

I have been told that you have to have you vehicle tuned up every couple of years.

Who is right?
