Electrical problem
1996 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 90000 miles

My ranger is not getting power to the fuel pump. I checked the fuses and the relay switch, put 12V on pump and it works but when attached it does not.

Any ideas...
Thanks

check power at the bottom of the fuel pump relay on the pump feed side and see if you have power there, that way we can narrow it down and go from there. you can turn key to run and see if the relay clicks on for 2 seconds and sends power on the fuel pump wire
