Warranty problem

I was pulling out of parking lot from work, I stopped to raise the parking arm. When I started to let out the clutch the engine stalled. I tried to start the engnine but the engine would not even click or turn over. I pushed the clutch to the floor with truck in gear, as well as the truck in neutral, but it would not start. As I pushed the car into a parking stall, I noticed a puddle of fluid, which appeared to be red in color, The puddle was toward the front, somewhere under where the engine block would be. It was hard for me to see a leak in the line or under the transfer case. I'm clueless. Somehow the clutch is not engaging to allow the engine to start. What could be the problem?
