I have a 1993 BMW 840CI V8 My central locking fob has stopped working but the Led flashes on it when pressed.
When the key is in the door the central locking works its just the remote that has stopped. I cannot see any security Led in the mirror or the dash. Could it be the central locking unit that has failed

Obtain a printout from the system with someone who has a GT-1 (the dealer software) Have you tried renewing the battery in the key?
