1991 Ford Ranger high rpm

Engine Performance problem
1991 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 90888 miles

start truck high rpm 2000 to 3000 will not come down replaced throttle bypass valve throttle position sensor and have a new computer on order. replaced valve first truck ran good for one day then started high rpm again replaced tps with no reduction in rpm besides the computer what else can I do ?

check for vacuum leak
