Sirs:
I need to replace the alternator and I am looking for any advice how to get this done safe and fast without the need for rework due to my inexperience. I replaced the serp belt last year without too much difficulty but appreciated the heads up on removing the flap in the pass/front wheel well for easier access. Perhaps there's another tip like this that'll help.
Hi:
Make sure you disconnect the battery before starting this job. Just remove the serp belt, unbolt the alt, remove the wiring, and remove the alt. Reverse the process to replace.
If you have any questions while doing it, let me know and I'll get back to you ASAP.
