Drive Train Axles Bearings problem 2000 Chevy Tahoe 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles ---------------------------------------------------------------- I have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe z71. Mileage is around 120K. Love this truck very much. I brought it to the dealership to get it fix and found out the following problems. I need a transfer case motor. Basically they told me that my transfer case motor is crack and leaking fluid. Another thing is the water pump - leaking and need to be replaced. All in all the estimate they gave me is close to $2000. Includes labor, change oil, replace windshield wipers, labor to put in new battery, flush liquids, new transfer case motor (i think) and water pump. Is the estimate about right?
