Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 88000 miles

My wife's impala has a problem of every once in a while it decides to not start.Maybe once in every thirty or so times She turns the key and all the dash lights up but when she turns to the start position that's when it just goes dark. Nothing. If she sits and waits for 15 20 minutes it will then catch and start. We went to Sears and bought a new battery because the old one was only putting out 350 amps.
But when she came home from sears she made a stop for fuel and it would not start. The same thing happened. I sure hope you can help. Myself I think it's the ignition switch but I'm not a mechanic.

you may have a problem with the ingnition switch or the battery connections. check and see if the connections are tight at the battery and get back to me with what you find and ill see if i can help you more
