I just bought a 2000 chevrolet tracker with 80,00 miles and a 4 cylinder engine. The problem is restarting after the car has been warmed up and driven for a while. It starts and runs fine normally, but when i turn it off and try to restart just a few minutes later it either will not start or starts then the engine chugs and sputters then usually dies. If i leave it for 20-30 minutes it will start and run perfectly. I just bought it this week and i did run out of gas the day i brought it home. (the gas gauge is off by about 1/8 of a tank) i towed it to a station and got gas and started no problem.
