Air Conditioning problem
2000 Cadillac Catera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 119000 miles

I have a Catera that when you turn on the air conditioning there is extremely hot air that comes out the rea vents and warm air out the front vents. I had the heater control valve replaced last summer. It was after this that is hasn't worked propertyly. The dealer says it is not related. They say I have a restriction in the a/c system, and the gas would not level out. I was told by another mechanic it was a module that controls the door/damper that controls the hot or cold air. Do you have any suggetions? I am getting a different diagnosis from each place I go.
