Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 320000 miles

This car is over heating. Engine light comes on, I have change the thermostat and also tested the old one and it opens okay. What could be wrong with this car?

Joe, It may have corrosion in the radiator that doesn't allow the coolant to flow quickly enough. I recommend having the rad rodded out or professionally flushed.
