Electrical problem 2000 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles Two problems: 1. Why would a new battery go dead after about 1 week of non-use? How would I diagnose if there is a drain somewhere? 2. Dealer replaced GM battery under warranty, then charged over $300 to remove and reset the dashboard.... sounds like a rip-off to me. Is this dashboard reset a typical procedure after a completely dead battery situation?
