2000 BMW Z3 Engine light is on still

Electrical problem
2000 BMW Z3 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

A few months ago I had a problem with overheating so I changed out the Radiator and pipe (because it blew off). After that my engine light is still on. It runs real well, no noise, no overheating problems anymore. Whats wrong with my car?

Very possibly the MAP thermostat will need to be replaced, however, before anything else, scan the cars' systems for fault codes and report back.
