2000 BMW 323 radiator fluid

Engine Cooling problem
2000 BMW 323 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 106000 miles

I put fluid in the radiator this morning and noticed what appeared to be oil present in the fluid already in the radiator.What's up with that??

Was it oil, did it look like dirty water or was it milky? If it is just dirty then it may be time to flush the system, if otherwise then there may be another issue lurking here. When was the last time you had the cooling system serviced?
