Computer problem
1999 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 167000 miles

The check engine light is on. Had the code run and it came back as lean fuel. The mechanic changed the fuel filter and cleared the check engine light. Upon picking up the vehicle, the check engine light came back on within 20 miles. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
