The SID window has pixels missing sometimes, but not all of the time. Is this a bad connection issue? The temperature display does not register but all of the other items on the unit as you scroll through them work. Is there another part that has to be replaced in order to have the outside air temp display? Is shows as ----

yes there is a outside air temp sensor mount in the lower mid section of your front bumper ,check to see if it is still there ,when this sensor is bad you will get a very high or a very low outside temp reading which is not near to the actual temp .
