i have a power antenna on my trans am. but recently i installed a sub/amp and the remote wire had to go where the wire to the antenna was. is there any way to change the antenna into a fixed antenna? thanks in advance
Yes but the power source that the amp requirs should be a constant hot and a keyed hot or just the keyed hot. on most amps that hook in to the power antenna hook in WITH the power antenna, meaning the power antenna will still work. TRY THAT FIRST. if not the ground for the atenna moter should be right beside the moter. take the antenna up and disconnect the ground
