Noises problem

My car makes the dinging noise like if a car door is open and reads "door" in the mileage spot on dash after the car is put into drive. Sometimes the dinging noise is every 30 seconds for up to 15 minutes and sometimes it doesn't do it at all. But it always shows the "door" on the dash. How can I fix this problem?

One of your door switches is faulty. You just have to figure out which one.
