Engine Mechanical problem 1999 Other Volkswagen Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 145000 miles We have a problem code of PO442 on our Cabrio, which is a small vaccum leak. The mechanic replaced the purge valve, which he said should get the check engine light off so the car would pass the emmissions inspection. After 110 miles the light came on again with the same code. What do you suggest we can do to find the vaccum leak. we have tried squrting carburetor fluid, nothing
