Engine Performance problem
1999 Other Ford Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 188,00 miles

Thanks so much: I had a gas station put in about a half of tank of fuel which was supposed to be Diesel. Instaed they placed into the tank Reg Gasoline. What can that do to my engine and then I will tell you what happened:

Hi there,

Depending on how much petrol was mixed with the diesel, if the diesel is to diluted you will get hard starting, excessive detonation, low power, and at worst destroyed injectors and injector pump as the diesel is also the lubricant for these items, you can also smash a piston and destroy an engine in a very shot time, this is not a good thing to happen.
