Electrical problem

the fuel gauge doesnt work properly and when i get gas the pump keeps shutting off before it is full i checked the vent tube for a kink or clog and cant find anything wrong

When I used to own my '96 Dodge Neon, I found that to replace the speedometer it was a full circuit board that need replacing. Irritatingly it was $280 item. I also asked a dealer to find the problem. So prepare to save up some dollars I would imagine.
