Engine Mechanical problem

When I turn the ignition on, it sounds like it wants to start, but the "kick" that turns the engine on does not take place. What do you think the problem is?

I would start with fuses and the battery

check fuses
check battery terminals (clean and tighten )
check and make sure battery full and in good health!!


check the starter

locate the starter check terminals make sure they clean and tight
check for power on the big terminal all the time
S small terminal has power when u turn the ignition switch to start
and if so starter no good
