Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 120000 miles

My wife has a 99 accord coupe, and when the temperature dips below about 35 degrees it will not start right away. When the key is turned it just clicks, but after several attempts it starts and runs without issue. The battery is new, and all of the electrical components work. when we we purchased it there was an issue with an 02 sensor that I think was resolved, but I suppose could be the issue.

When it clicks without the starter cranking, it should only be the cranking circuit that you need to focus on.
1. Poor battery terminal connections or grounding points and/or cables.
2. Bad ignition switch.
3. Weak starter.
