Electrical problem

this is for information to others. I went for years with this problem. I'd be on a long trip. Stop for gas or food and it would not start. Key would turn but nothing. Light would come on for 'security'. Waiting for about 10 minutes, the engine would then start. After taking into the dealer three or four times, where they could find nothing they finally replaced the wiring in the steering wheel and the problem never returned.
