Electrical problem
1999 GMC Sierra 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 220000 miles

this morning my truck would not turn over, no clicks, nothing. by the time I opened the hood the key in iginition bell was dinging, but still nothing when turning the key. Jumped vehicle, only touched cable to other car, started immediately. Off and on last few weeks, truck has started, but instantly tries to stall have to pump the gas to keep it going for 30 seconds, then runs fine, although so quietly at traffic lights I think it has shut down again. Also, low fuel light and gas gauge have malfunctioned during this time frame as well. And the clock keeps going haywire as if the battery were dead...Please can you help.
