Engine Performance problem
1999 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles
When you first start the van in the morning it doesn't want to stay running until it warms up. I suspect a sticky choke but not sure what to do. about it. I was also thinking it may do with a fuel filter. An help would be great.
what you should be checking instead would be the engine temperature sensor aka coolant temperature sensor.
also could be the intake air temperature sensor, idle air control or if you have a heated air intake for cold starts if thats not working properly it may not be warming up as designed.
