1999 Ford Escort Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Install a used Transmission in a 1999 escort shifted Ok for one day now has no reverse.

You could have low fluid level, a faulty/wrong Transimission range switch fitted or it could be a fault inside the transmission !!
No Reverse, Forward Gears Okay
Fluid level and condition, shift linkage, low line pressure, valve body, incorrectly tightened valve body bolts (cross-leaks), 1-2 shift valve, Neutral-Reverse accumulator, pump assembly, reverse clutch and low/reverse clutch.
