Electrical problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

Turned a corner in our escort and lost power then the engine died. We replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. The car acts like it wants to start but is getting no fuel. Upon checking there is no voltage to the fuel pump. We have checked all the fuses and reset the fuel shutoff valve. There is no pressure to the fuel rail. Do you have any ideas?

Check fuel pump relay and its wiring and connectors
check ignition switch
do you have check engine light with key on ?


check wiring harness
