Heater problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles

My heater blows out cool air. Also today while driving home from work the airbag light kept blinking off and on and then the battery light started to blink also. I looked at my speedometer and it wasnt working, the gas gage had moved up higher then it was originally and I tried to turn on the music and that didnt work either. Later this evening I seen that there was a really bad leak coming from my car. Is this something electrical or was there any possible foul play with my car? Also is it safe to drive it to be looked at?

the heater and the leak could be related .. you need to find the leak .. cure it, then get back to us if heater is still not working .. the other faults you mentioned sound like your alternator/generator has stopped working and is no longer charging the battery .. with the engine running using a volt meter bridge the battery terminals +red -black you should be getting somewhere between 13 - 14 volts if this is not the case .. check alternator wiring for bad connections/broken wires ..check + terminal on back of generator and earth/ground on chassis somewhere to see if your getting 13-14 volts out of generator if not replace generator ..
