My engine won't start. I had the battery checked and the connections cleaned. After having the battery charged, the car ran okay but today it won't start again. I was told that the battery and the alternator are working properly. Anything else I should look at?
something must be draining the battery .. a light left on/radio left on/boot light stuck on/glove box light etc. etc. you need to find out what it is ??
If you find nothing staying on, as per instructed by Dave H. , then it may be your starter or ignition switch. What happens when you turn the key over to start the engine? Does it just click, or does the engine try to crank over? If it does just click, will any lights, radio, etc.. come on?
