Air Conditioning problem

I thought system might be low on charge. While charging system I noticed the suction pressure didn't change (<25#) I stopped charging and noticed that the suction line comming from the front evap was not cool at all but the one comming from the rear evap was. I need to know what meters the refrigerant to the front evap where its located and how do I get to it. Am I barking up the right tree or is there something else I'm not considering.
