1999 Chevy Tahoe Cylinder 5 misfire

Engine Performance problem
1999 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 107000 miles

The tahoe has a misfire code P0305 which is misfire on cylinder five the truck has new cap and rotor, plugs and wires check valve springs and compression cleaned all the engine grounds inspected the wiring to the pcm look for cracked injector line running out of ideas

Hello,

Check for vacuum leaks.

Did you check the Injector itself? and the Wire Harness. Will need Noid Light to test.

Also check fuel pressure and regulator.

I have checked for vacum leaks and the injector and the fuel pressure is good still haven't found anything also the truck has a new distributor

Something I forgot to ask is, did you clear code after repair? If not it usually takes up too 1000 miles to clear or about 100 - 200 key starts.

If did clear code after repair here are other possible causes...

Weak Signal from Crank and/or Cam Sensor

Faulty Engine Mount

The IAC (Idle Air Control) Motor
