Noises problem
1999 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 137000 miles

Symptom - A rubbing noise sounds like brake rotor rub on dust shield more at low speeds 10-30 mph.

Turning right only. Hard or light (changing lanes).
Noise seems to be from under engine, not axles and more right side then left.
Power Steering pump does consume fuild - not leakage noticed and fuild is dark.

Finally tested for noise with shutting engine off during downhill driving - NO NOISE

Repeat with car in neutral and Noise. Less noise with neutral, but higher engine revs.

No loss of power steering noticed in normal driving.

No noise with car stationary (in any gear, neutral, park) and turning steering wheel left and right
