1999 DODGE INTREPID WON'T CRANK "PLEASE HELP"

Electrical problem
1999 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 123,00 miles

MECHANIC TRIED TO JUMPSTART MY A/C COMPRESSOR BY UNPLUGGING THE LINE AND INSERTING A WIRE WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING AND TOUCHED THE OTHER END OF THE WIRE TO MY POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE. IT SPARKED AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. I TURNED THE KEY AND ALL DASH LIGHTS COME ON BUT IT DOESN'T CRANK NOW. ALL FUSES WERE CHECKED AND THEY'RE FINE. DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO THE CARS COMPUTER AND IF SO WHAT SHOULD IT COST TO FIX. PLEASE HELP.

Check the fusable link, it should run from the alternater to the battery

had the same problem on my moms 98 intrepid u have to take it to the dealer and have them reprogram the computer and key it was only 120.00 bucks not bad
