1998 Volkswagen Golf 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 72000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have had problems selecting 1st gear and reverse, sometimes making an awful grinding noise when selected. Nine times out of ten having to turn engine off to put in either gear. Had a new clutch put on but no improvement, anyone got any ideas please?
