Engine Mechanical problem

i have a bad oil leak in my 1998 nissan 200sx..... it's the 1.6L which is the smaller motor of two that year..... the leak is coming from a square boxy looking thing on the bottom side of the motor.....if you're laying under the car, it's on the passenger side....it's between the oil filter and the wheel well.....oil is leaking straight down on the passenger half axle.....if you look from the side of the car then you can't see where it's dripping from, you just have a puddle.....if i could figure out what the boxy thing is then maybe i could fix it.....help please raceguy
