Electrical problem

I have a problem with my tail lights. I work at Kragen Auto Parts so I have some knowledge. The problem is my tail lights do not work. I changed the bulbs and that was not it. I checked the fuses and it was burnt. So I put in a new one and turned on the lights and it did not turn on. I put a checked the fuses again and it had burnt that one too. So i put a higher amp fuse on there and when I turned on the tail lights I heard it get burnt and it was. I was wondering how can I fix this problem. Also, my instrument panel light, the one that lights up my speed meter, and my gas, also does not turn. So I was also wondering whether it could be related to the tail light.
