Engine Performance problem

my car will idle really rough at half way below the 1 on the RPM's. If i put it in nuteral it wont die, but after first starting it and taking off it dies when i stop. Idles really rough..then just dies. But if you drive it a little while it will only idle rough and wont die..the longer you drive it the higher the RPM idles at(like if i drive it for 30 mins it will idle at the 1 and wont be rough)..can anyone help me? I am a single mom with 2 kids and dont want to get ripped off at the repair shop..i have been told "they see you comin" when i go to those kind of places! thanks~!

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up?

Get the IACV-AAC valve , throttle position and mass airflow sensor checked to include the fuel pressure

The check engine light is not coming on yet. The last tune up was May 18th 2008. Thanks
