1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Automatic 107000 miles

My Engine Light Was on Last year going through Emissions, was told was the EGR Valve. I Got Replaced and cleaned then passed Emmisions. I Just got my O2 sensor replaced, two days ago, the one before the cadillac converter. The Wire on my EGR Valve keeps popping off he top of it ever since I got replaced a year ago. Does it need a new Wire? Does it need to be cleaned again? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
