Transmission problem
1998 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 164000 miles

My van started jerking and bucking while on the interstate. When I slow down below 60mph there is minimal or no jerking. Almost like it is a transmission problem, and is overheating. I have replaced the drive belt, transmission fluid, transmission filter, and thermostat. The problem is still persisting. I have heard maybe it just needs a tune up, or perhaps the alternator is bad. Please help! Any suggestions...?
