Yes, my cruise control works intermittently. Ex. it worked for approx. 4 hours going from San Diego to Las Vegas, then the next day it doesn't work at all. I've replaced the control module on the firewall but no improvement. Is there someway to check the "turn stalk controls" before removing the steering column and replacing it? In talking with friends, this appears to be a common problem with Chevy's as they get older.

Sorry, the next step is to change the control switch on the columb. Being that you changed the control module, the problem is most likely inside of the switch itself. Your friends are right, this is a common problem.
